I would really love to hear my members (and non members) opinions on this new Digital Economy Act that comes in to play in April 2018.

I was glad to hear that it has been postponed until the end of the year.  Usual government guff, tell everyone something is going to be done to stop children accessing porn but no one put any proper thought into how to implement it.

I for one would not be happy with the powers that be knowing what I like to do in my own home, it has certainly put me off joining any more adult sites. [frown]

Sorry I have only just seen there was a reply!

I agree. Firstly the law will not stop children accessing anything. What they need to target are the site stealing all the content and displaying it for free! Because they will not be putting up age identification barriers because they are already breaking the law with copyright theft and no one even knows who owns these sites!

Secondly I have no idea how they will police those sites abroad.

Thirdly is it not all about educating children & good parenting?

To be honest I could rant for ages about how it is such a joke and SO full of holes it's pathetic, but they will keep Moms Net & Daily Mail readers happy so that is all that really matters to the government (who know nothing about anything never mind the adult industry).
